Photo Submission for All

We love film cameras and photographic images in general from historical to modern.

Do you use a film camera?

Have a picture you would like to share with the world?

Our goal will be to receive submissions with the only caveats being - it is a photo from a film camera and the photo is family friendly. Artistic photos encouraged, Lomography is good too. Earlier I was reading "Shutterbug" and enjoying the featured photos and thought it would be great if we could get our visitors to submit photos with minimal qualifiers. Through this effort we would be able to expose, share and appreciate random photos from random people. So scan your favorite Polaroid Instant, Medium Format, 35mm, 127, 110, or whatever film you use and email it to Retro(at)Retro-Vintage-Bazaar.com. When entries are received they will be "featured" with a blurb about the submitter, film, and camera, we will also "feature" your photo anonymously if desired.

To start this out here is a Polaroid Instant I shot late 1980s

Kodak Brownie Super 27 Film Camera Circa 1960

Kodak Brownie Super 27 Camera

The Brownie Super 27

The Brownie Super 27 is a viewfinder camera taking 4x4cm images on 127 film. It was made in the USA by Kodak, from August 1961 til June 1965. It has a built-in flash holder covered by a door beside the lens. The f/8 Kodar lens has two aperture stops – f/13.5  and f/8, selected by a knob on the front, between the viewfinder and lens. There are two focus zones, Close Up  3½-6 ft and Beyond 6 ft. The shutter has two speeds, 1/80 when the flash door is closed, and 1/40 when open. Winding the film cocks the shutter, hence preventing double-exposures. This vintage Kodak Brownie is in very good used condition, all buttons and knobs move freely and the shutter fires, no further testing was performed. This unique camera is sold as a collectible and sold as is.
